2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC official sketch revealed

Mercedes-Benz is now planning a BMW X3 rival which will be known as GLC-Class.
The German luxury car manufacturer has now released an official sketch of the mid-size SUV which clearly takes design inspiration from the GLC Coupe concept.
The coupe like body style has been given to the GLC with a sloping roof line.
The front fascia looks similar to the new C-Class with projector headlamps, twin-blade grille, etc. Below the grille, the GLC also has a hexagonal air dam. The bonnet also has bold crease lines which add character to the front end design. From the sketch, it is also visible that the GLC will get body cladding all around the vehicle. At the back, horizontal LED tail lamps are expected.
Inside, the GLC will share the dashboard layout with the new C-Class.
The GLC will fill the gap between the entry-level GLA & the E-Class based GLE SUV.
