BMW 3-Series facelift spotted in India

The BMW 3-Series facelift which is due for a market launch in India later this year has been spotted. The luxury sedan was being transported on a flat-bed truck with mild camouflage to keep the changes a secret.
The camouflaged section reveals that the changes to the facelift model would be minimum when it comes to exteriors. Changes on the exteriors include revised headlamp & tail lamp with LEDs, new bumpers, wider air dam and new alloy wheels. Rest of the exteriors remain unchanged.
Inside, there’s chrome highlights on the dashboard. The new 3 would come equipped with LTE connectivity, new navigation system, head-up display (colour display), etc. Materials used for the interior trims have changed a bit as well.
We expect the new 3-Series to continue with the same engines currently on offer. Internationally, a new 1.5L, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol motor producing 134 BHP has been introduced. It remains to be seen if this makes it to India. The 2.0L diesel motor will continue to be the preferred powertrain even on the new model.
