Hyundai Elite i20 drops features, COST CUTTING!

Not something we’re used to hear from Hyundai, but the Elite i20 is now missing out on some features. Amidst increasing competition, this move is quite surprising when Hyundai should have rather been holding on to all the equipment offered.
The i20 Sportz misses out on the following features:
  • Leather wrapped steering wheel
  • Leather wrapped gear knob
  • Auto up / down for driver window
  • Only 1 flip key offered
  • Boot lamp
The i20 Sportz (O) misses out on the following features:

  • Leather wrapped steering wheel
  • Leather wrapped gear knob
The i20 Asta misses out on the following features:
  • Only one power outlet, one removed
All i20 models now get a different seat fabric.
Mechanical changes are none & the Elite i20 continues with the same 1.2L petrol & 1.4L diesel motor.
Hyundai is planning to introduce a touchscreen infotainment in the Elite i20 soon.
The i20 Active remains unchanged.
