This is the new Honda Accord which is coming to India

Honda has revealed that they will re-introduce the Accord sedan in India soon.
Now, the Japanese manufacturer has revealed the facelift version which is India-bound.
The 2016 Honda Accord gets new headlamps with projectors & LED DRLs, new LED tail lamps, sculpted aluminium hood, new alloy wheels, revised front & rear bumpers, 7″ touchscreen infotainment system,
But apart from just the petrol, Honda could introduce the hybrid variant of this D2 segment sedan.
Powering the Accord hybrid could be a 2.0L, 4-cylinder petrol motor producing 141 BHP & 165 Nm coupled with an electric motor which further develops 166 BHP & 306 Nm. Engines would be matched to a E-CVT automatic gearbox with paddle shifts.
There is no diesel powered model currently on the cards which will allow the likes of new Skoda Superb & Volkswagen Passat to appeal to a wider audience.
If locally assembled, the Honda Accord Hybrid could also benefit from the government’s FAME (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric vehicles) initiative.
Honda is primarily targeting the Toyota Camry which is clocking respectable sales numbers in this new avatar.
