Suzuki iM-4 compact-SUV to be called ‘Ignis’

Suzuki is bringing back the Ignis brand name to the market.
The Ignis was a compact-SUV which was manufactured between 2000-2008. Now, the Japanese manufacturer is planning to call the production version of the iM-4 concept the Ignis.
The iM-4 is a compact-SUV measuring just 3.7 metres in length. This will make it much smaller in size compared to the Ford EcoSport. Also, it would look more like a hatchback on stills rather than a SUV.
Powering the Ignis could be a 1.0L, 3-cylinder BoosterJet petrol, 1.2L DualJet petrol & a 1.3L, DDiS diesel motor.
Indian debut is uncertain in the near future as Maruti Suzuki is already in final stages of testing & validating the YBA compact-SUV.
