Volvo S90 scale model reveals design details

The Volvo S90 sedan is not hitting the streets anywhere in the world before 2016. However, ahead of any official updates, a couple of scale model images of the S90 have emerged on the internet revealing a lot about the exterior design.
The S90 clearly takes design inspiration from the Volvo Concept Coupe.
Features:
  • Thor’s hammer LED DRL
  • Rectangular Volvo grille
  • Wide air intakes
  • Chrome accents around fog lamp housing
  • Sloping roof line
  • C-shaped tail lamp
  • Twin rectangular exhaust pipes
  • 5-spoke alloy wheels
  • Sunroof
  • Sharkfin antenna
Powering the S90 could be the same engines from the XC90 SUV. A 2.0L, twin-turbo, 4-cylinder diesel motor & a T8 hybrid motor could be plonked under the hood.
More details should be available in the coming months.
