2016 Range Rover Evoque facelift in India for homologation

Jaguar Land Rover has imported two units of the 2016 Range Rover Evoque facelift to India for homologation which hints that the launch of the updated model is inching closer.
Two variants have been imported – Pure & Dynamic.
The Evoque was first launched in 2011 and has been a popular model for the JLR group worlwide thanks to the way it looks.
Changes on the Evoque facelift:
  • New LED adaptive headlamps
  • New front bumper
  • Larger front air dam
  • New alloy wheels
  • New front grille
  • New tailgate mounted spoiler
  • New LED tail lamp
  • New seats
  • New doorpad
  • Use of soft touch materials on the inside
  • New 8″ touchscreen infotainment system
  • ATPC (All-terrain progress control)
  • Lane assist, autonomous emergency braking, drowsy driver warning
The new Evoque could also be powered by a new 2.0L, Ingenium diesel motor. Apart from that, the current 2.2L SD4 engine producing 190 PS of power could continue. Engines will be matched to a 9-speed ZF automatic gearbox.
Pricing is expected to be bumped up by a margin given the additional equipment.
