India-bound Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet revealed

Mercedes-Benz has revealed the S-Class Cabriolet & we’re sure that it will also hit the Indian showrooms sometime in 2016. The last S-Class convertible was built in 1971, 44 years back.
A derivative of the S-Class coupe, the cabriolet version gets a new soft top which can be retracted within 20 seconds. The soft top can be retracted even while driving, at speeds under 60 kmph. The drop top version measures 5,027mm in length, 1,899mm in width, 1,413mm in height which makes it 4 mm taller.
Powering the S-Class Cabriolet is a 4.7L, V8, turbocharged petrol motor producing 455 BHP of power and 700 Nm of torque matched to a 9G Tronic automatic gearbox. A S63 AMG version will also be on offer powered by a 5.5L, V8, Bi-Turbo motor producing 577 BHP & 900 Nm matched to a 7-speed Speedshift gearbox.
Mercedes-Benz will reveal the S-Class cabriolet at the Frankfurt Motor Show later this month.
