BMW M6 Gran Coupe facelift launched @ Rs. 1.71 crore

BMW has launched the 2015 M6 Gran Coupé (Facelift) in India. The new BMW M6 Gran Coupé is available at BMW dealerships across India as a CBU (Completely Built-Up) unit.
The new BMW M6 Gran Coupé is available in a petrol variant at an ex-showroom price of INR1,71,00,000.
The new BMW M6 Gran Coupé will be available in the following nine metallic paint work: Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Silverstone, Space Grey, Jatoba, San Marino Blue, Sakhir Orange, Singapore Grey and Imperial Blue Brilliant Effect.
The exterior features signature M design characteristics such as new front apron with large air intakes, new Adaptive LED headlights and M‑specific double-bar kidney grille, sculpted front wings with hallmark M grills, side skirts and the exclusive forged M light-alloy wheels. At the back you get a rear apron with integrated diffuser insert, two sets of M-specific twin tailpipes and the M6 logo on the boot lid. Another exclusive M feature is the ultra-lightweight contoured carbon roof, which also helps to lower the vehicle’s centre of gravity visually.
Inside, you get the door sill finisher with M logo, contoured M seats, upholstery options, multifunction M leather steering wheel, M centre console which is inclined slightly towards the driver and has controls for different M driving dynamics systems and the instrument cluster display.
The M6 Gran Coupe is powered by a M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine which produces power of 560 hp (412 kW) and torque of 680 Nm available at all times thanks to the TwinScroll turbocharging concept. This make for an average fuel consumption of just 10.10 kms per litre of petrol. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.2 seconds and top speed is 250 km/h. The engine’s power is transferred to the rear wheels via a seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission with Drivelogic. Drivelogic also includes adjustable shift characteristics, a Low Speed Assistance system with a crawl function for increased comfort in stop-and-go traffic and a Launch Control system. Motor sport-style shift paddles directly on the steering wheel allow the driver to engage all seven gears without having to lift off the accelerator. The new BMW M6 Gran Coupé also features two M Drive buttons on the steering wheel for pre-programmed configurations for either a sporty or a comfortable drive.
The new BMW M6 Gran Coupé with state-of-the-art safety features provides maximum support in any situation with six air bags, Active M Differential, M Dynamic Damper Control, M Dynamic mode, M Compound Brakes, Active Protection with Attention Assist and Active headrests (front).
